I am thinking of buying the Antoinette Fat Quarter Sampler at connecting threads, I want to make a simple quilt for my daughter using 5 inch squares.
How many 5 inch squares do I get out of Fat Quarters, you get 20 Fat quarters for 29.80 Or I can buy Antoinette Charm Pack for 4.99, you get 20 charms in that pack.
Trying to see which is more economical. :(
thank you.

If the fat quarters are accurately cut, you should get 12 5 inch squares per fat quarter.
20 fat quarters would be 240 5 inch squares for $29.80
20 squares in a charm pack 12 packs to be 240 squares. 12 packs at $5 would be $60

I just received the Fireworks fat quarters from Connecting Threads. The pieces are cut very straight and are beautiful. There were also 2 extra ones, I don't know if that was in error or the company just being generous. That is the first time I have purchased fat quarters from them. I have purchased other kits and have been pleased.
