I use very small pieces, but I think I'd put these in a bin until I had enough to make a pet bed to donate. :)

I would save them only because I am doing an applique quilt using very small pieces...example...chicken legs and beaks.

I actually use those little scraps, I save them up and when I have enough I use it to stuff pillows for out side on the lawn chairs.

Start a scrappy block with some of the bigger ones but the tiny ones trash or stuff a pillow.

This thread reminds me of the old story about a family packing up a deceased loved one's home and finding a box of string labeled "string too short to save"!

Unless you were going to make some very small paper pieced blocks, I would consider them trash

I agree with Ann Clare, "too small to use."

That would be trash at my house. Too small to sort with my actual scraps.

I add them to my worm bin rather than throwing out. Of course, I save most scraps but when I cut off pieces from those, then they make either the worm bin or use in lasagna gardening as a layer. I don't throw out, I simply re-purpose!

Okay, I'll be the first to ask: What is lasagna gardening?
