Honest to God your avatar quilt is the most amazing beautiful thing ever! I'd say if you can create a beauty like this you can do anything. Quilt on! Thank you for sharing such a masterpiece!

It is a Jacqueline De Jonge design that I made with my own choice of batiks and started out as a 60" square. I added a ton of borders and some New York Beauty blocks in the outside corners and by doing this I was able to morph it into a king size. I have made possibly 8 quilts and would consider myself a bit driven to "push the envelope" but I only helped with designing some of the quilting. That took the talents of a super long arm operator.
