Wow! Sometimes you hit & sometimes you don't..... Congrats!!!! I was in a thrift store, saw a big plastic bag of scraps that was going to be shelved, scooped it up quick! $7. Found lots of scraps but found at least 1.5 yds (2) of coordinating greens, mauve & pink....

I would have said "Here's $$ and I'll take it all now" I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I can get a lot in it.

I know I am a fabric hoarder...isn't it fantastic? I can't get enough fabric and love to find it at sales. I really am hoping I will stop buying and keep sewing for a few months...I don't think I have enough time to use all I have but I love to get all wrapped up in it.

Don't feel guilty! He made the offer, you didn't initiate it.

Great find - and don't feel guilty - like Pam S said - I'm sure the mother is happy someone will be using it.

I know that I would have done the same as some others, I would have said I'll take it all and if I can't fit it all in my vehicle, I'll come back for it, although I don't know WHERE I would have put it all, but I would have found a place somewhere. LOL
