    Didn't you know that it's illegal to use "hoarder" and "fabric" in the same sentence? The quilt police will get you!

    You definitely hit the jackpot in fabric. No doubt the person selling the fabric had no idea of what the fabric originally cost. I might be tempted to go back and pick up more fabric, what you don't use you can pass on to another quilter and/or make charity quilts.

    I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. $2 for lawn size trash bags of fabric, but couldn't see what was in them. Bought 3. They gave what wasn't sold to goodwill, who promptly threw it away because they said it was molded. Mine smelled musty, a grandmothers attic kind of smell that all washed out. I was devastated when I found out they got rid of it.

    Her fabric found a good home where it will be loved and enjoyed instead of ending up on a scrap heap somewhere. Don't feel guilty. Enjoy your new found fabric treasures.
