    Default MDG 108" Printed Backing

    Hello,
Has anyone used the MDG 108" backing? Their prices seem pretty good, but
I don't want to purchase an entire bolt without knowing the quality.
    Thanks,
    sceniccityred

Maybe call and ask to be sent a swatch of different prints of it? I know they send batting samples they may send fabric swatches too of their brand, MDG.

I have ordered from them a few times and always been happy with their fabrics. I have never ordered a bolt of their fabric.

most (not all, but most) of the backing fabric in quilt shops and online comes from MDG.
theirs is the first site i check when i need backing,
i especially like their tone-on-tone prints.

I've ordered a lot of 108" bolts from MDG and have never been disappointed. The regular fabric is also a good price and I've never had any problems with any of it. I make mostly charity quilts.

I buy bolts of Dream Cotton solids from MDG. I do steam press before using as I do with Moda Bella or Kona. All three will shrink. . Rep told me Dream Cotton was made at the same place as Moda Bella. All three ravel more then prints for some reason. The colors are gorgeous. I have never had the deepest color bleed. It come in wide backing too.

I just ordered some MDG for the umpteenth time and have never been disappointed. I’ve not ordered an entire bolt before but if I had room and money I would.

what do they mean by preprinted quilt tops? I might use those as backing but fronts, well just to make and give away to charity maybe. just thought odd since they sell backing.
