I took some class from Holice. He is very nice and patient. Look at his avatar, it is gorgeous. He had it on display at the show.

I am indeed blushing tonight with all this attention and praise. When you have been around quilting for as long as I have you just learn things. You can read all about it on Wikipedia.......
I have been fortunate through the years to be at the right places at the right times and still going strong in this wonderful craft

I'll be teaching at the Original Sewing and Quilting Expos in both Cleveland Ohio in March and here in Worcester Ma in April and at a quilting retreat in Ripley WV in October.

Thank you for the wonderful comments.

I have been quilting since 1981 and he was one of the first names in the quilting world that I became familiar with. Keep up the good work Holice, you are appreciated!

Certainly not to embarrass Holice, but he is an all around caring, giving, talented quilter and teacher. Your will be gifted if you have a chance to take a class from him. I am blessed to have Holice as a QB member but also live in nearby area - he is always willing to do classes in our local area!! I have found his cut down methods helpful and have improved my quilting skills.

I also really appreciate your participation in the board, Holice! I've watched your video on quilterstv.com about using the walking foot for quilting and found it very helpful. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Many years ago, when the World Wide Quilting page was my go to source for quilting, Holice helped me with tips on quilting my first hand quilted project. The best advise he gave me was to make sure I had good lighting (the quilting was done in black on a black background). He's the one who told me about using a silver pencil for marking on the dark background. Even though it was a real learning experience, the quilt is kinda crooked, it's still my favorite of all the quilts I've make. Thanks, Holice. I don't think I ever thanked you then. You're the best.
