    I love the puffy biscuit quilts! You can make it as fat as you want.

    We used a biscuit ( or puff) floor mat I made using the poly knit . It was nice and soft, , washed and dried great, and went through four babies and still looks good! We used that one on the floor, in the yard , on the deck. For the playpen I made a regular poly batting quilt, but that had a one inch thick play pen pad already.

    there are some very LOFTY batts on the market they quilt up nice, are very puffy, soft and cozy. they wash up well and last and last (poly high loft) i usually find the really lofty ones at places like joannes, for some reason quilters seem to like them flat...so quilt shops don't carry many good lofty batts. only the craft type stores
