    Illinois- it's one side! Honestly, I've never heard of that many. The most I've heard is 12 and that is not the norm.

    To help keep your stitches even, keep a practice piece with the quilt and do a few minuted of warming up before you start on your actual quilt. That seems to keep your stitches more even.

    I do about 10-11 stitches per inch. I don't care for toenail hangers. My opinion.
