    I love your quilt. What a cute idea. I have always quilting small items like this on my regular machine.

    Thanks! I took your advice and it is on the machine ready to go. I cut the backing long enough for the top and bottom rail. Any idea on what I can do in the borders?

    I like your idea of diagonal lines. They appear more geometric - different from the rounded edges of meandering or stipple.
