Meet my new friend Betty

Mine also came with a fold up box with pieces in it. Some of the pieces were a ruffler, a binder of some sorts and a hem piece. I don't know how to use them but I have them. Yours is probably like mine. I downloaded a manual of singer.com. That is how I found out what the pieces were. Congrats on your new machine. I love mine.

I have a 1914 model which loads the presser feet from the rear instead of the side. Is yours the same way or does it load them from the side. I have to buy a conversion kit for that yet. However, I LOVE the way it stitches so straight and true. It is the only machine I have been using for months.
Good luck with yours. I found a manual online by googling the year and Singer Red Eye. Perhaps you can do the same. Also if you post or send a pic I might be able to tell you about those pieces.
