I'm trying to get the mitered border done on a quilt for my best friend from high school. I won't say how old I am,lol! This was a UFO, but I finally dragged it out of the closet so I could work on it.

So far I finished quilting a queen size white and solids Kona jelly roll quilt, washed it and am drying it to block. Tomorrow will bind it. I binded a small block I did as a wallhanging for a friend, cleaned my room a bit...again...and selected my next project. Still have two days left so anything can happen. I am known for changing my plans and finish something else instead.

I plan on finishing a warm wishes quilt I had started a couple of days ago. It was for a man who was diagnosed with cancer but he passed last night but I am finishing it anyway. I don't know what I will do with it but I just had the feeling it had to be finished.

I am practicing my fmq on the frame my husband bought me in Sept. It is a wooden frame that you use your own sewing machine on. It is not going so well. (I want to burn it and get a tin lizzie,,,,) He meant well though. It is just not the same and does not glide. I also need to take my seem ripper and take apart 18 blocks apart on a log cabin that I did wrong.

You can borrow my seam ripper. Just got a new one, the other one didn't want to work anymore. I have no idea why.

I've got my fireworks entry quilt, for this summer's competition to get machine quilted. It's in four sections, easily workable sizes, to machine quilt on my home sewing machine. Lots to do and not that many weeks left to finish it.

Finish the quilt that WAS under the machine. Sewing the binding..checking for missed quilting and snipping threads. Wash/dry and then ready for giving at work on Tuesday.

Then need to look at the list of people I want to make a quilt for and see who's next! Have miles of fabric and lots of ideas. Just need to focus a bit.

We don't entertain or picnic since we care for Mom who has alz so easy to find time to sew. DH will probably run around the mall and Walmart and the guys will go to a movie. Sounds like a good plan to me..right?!?
