Does anyone have the pattern for Memories (Star Dust) that was on the Fons and porter show on PBS today? The pattern was in the Mar/Apr 1999 fons and porter magazine. Thanks! Joan

That episode has been on several times, but I thought she said that there was no pattern. Maybe she meant not available. I really liked it too.

When I looked at her home page it said it was in the Mar/Apr 1999 magazine. Was hoping someone still had it laying around!

That is the "cross" block. the other block wouldn't be hard to figure out if you have a good picture of it.

And actually you can break it up into hald square triangles like they did on the show.

I just rec'd a copy from Fons and Porter this week for that pattern. It cost $3.50 and shipping $2.99. I had emailed Fons and Porter and rec'd information and then called 1-866-729-9601. I have ordered the Tri-recs tools I think it was from overstock.com. Love the look of that quilt.

Here is a reference to the subject but I have never seen the show so don't know what it is supposed to look like.

"Instructions for this quilt were featured in Fons and Porter’s Fat Quarter Friendly Book and Fons and Porter’s Sew Many Quilts magazine March/April 1999.
    Quilts on Set:
Memories (Star Dust) quilt pieced by Mary Fons and quilted by Debbi Treusch."

Maybe you can find a copy of the magazine or request it from the classified section of the board. Ann in TN

I ordered the F & P book "Fat Quarter Friendly" from Amazon for about $5 including shipping. There were several sellers listing the book for a bargain price.
