I won't. It shouldn't be a problem. A friend from church has promised to take me. That way I know it will happen. I can get my life together if I work really hard at it. :)

I am so glad you like the quilt. I used the same fabric for a boarder for Adrian's quilt and now they are both in the box with the backings and the batting. Just need to get some tape to close them with.

Beautiful quilt and that is a thoughtful present to give to a quilter's family. :-)

Gwyn, both of the quilts are beautiful, you did an excellent job putting them together, thank you for doing this for Cathy's family.

Check on page 8 at the very bottom to see the other quilt. I'm sorry, I forgot to take a picture of it with the boarder, but you can imagine.

Everything is in the box and ready to go out.

Computer seems to have had the flu yesterday, but it is working better today. It is on its last legs. I sure hope my new one gets here soon.

I have a small problem. Recently my income was reduced by $1200 per month because one of my sons had his 18th birthday. This makes him inelligible for the social security check he was receiving. We will be okay, but it has nearly eliminated my money for postage.

I did may many things on Monday, but I just don't have the money for mailing the big box of quilts, backing fabrics and batting. If it is okay with you, may I hand quilt these and then bind them. It will allow me to save up to mail them to Arron & Adrian as well as getting them finished.

.this is the only option I have right now. Unless there is huge opposition, this is what I will do.

Sorry for not updating all of you in a more timely manner. I will be doing better from here on out. Thanks, Gwyn

Gwyn; Will one of the quilts fit into a Flat rate priority box? I would send you some money to help out with postage. That way you aren't so stressed with trying to get them both done. Let me know , Elaine

Gwen, I've been in your shoes and it's very hard to adjust. I would be happy to help with the postage and I think others would too. Please PM your address again and I'll wait and see how many would like to help. Could you please find out how much your going to need.
