    Has anyone ever made a memory picture quilt?? The first one I made was aweful, but I am now ready to try my hand at another. Can't wait to post it!! If anyone has everyone made one post it for me to see...please..

    Yes but mine too was awful. Awful because of the fabric I chose. I have a heat press machine so I can transfer the laser printer pictures onto fabric. I have seen some wonderful ones that use the attic window block (I believe that is what it is called.

    I have done two quilts and one wall hanging...I'm now doing a wedding quilt and they want signatures along with photos. Hopefully this one will turn out better, each has been a good learning experience! I will have to look at how to post a photo..

    Yep, I have my pictures printed onto the fabric, my attic windows cut out and now I have got to get the nerve up to piece it together.

    My problem was quilting on the photos, even the smallest needle leaves holes so you don't want to make a mistake and have to rip it out! The small photos could be stitched in the ditch but the larger ones really needed to be quilted, at least some of it.
