    Hi:
My name is Sharon Gail and we live in central Florida. I was writing a note to you and somehow I lost it. We have 4 sons and 1 daughter, along with 14 grandkids, and 2 sweet dogs. My hubby of 50 years has Alzhiemers. I am making him a Memory Quilt of our family. I have a question.

After I finally learned how to transfer my photos and sewed them into my Attic Windows, I could not believe how great they looked. :D I only have one problem, so far....I have a picture of one of our grandaughters who is almost 16. .....but her picture is she was 8 and a school picture, at that.

We are not allowed to see or talk to her eventhough she lives somewhere in town.... Whoops, sorry, but back to my question...her picture is so faded is there anything I can do to put some color back in? I thought about crayons and then heat setting it. Has anyone out there worked with crayons on fabric?

    TIA and Happy Quilting.

    Sharon Gail

I'd suggest taking your picture to a source that could restore the color instead. Many drugstores, etc., have this kind of service.

    Gail,
I don't know how you transferred your pictures onto your fabric but if you can scan the picture into your computer, you can use photoshop or some other photo program to fix the color of the picture then it can be printed ont special fabric or printed onto transfer paper. I have made several memory quilts and I like the fabric you can put through your pirnter.
