    I wish my brothers would have given me our dad's ties (he must have had over 200) so I could have made each of us a rememberance. He wore a different tie every day, and even
    in the assisted living.

    WOW that is nice. It is the best tie quilt I've ever seen. It looks like it was machine quilted?

    I have always intended on making a tie quilt..but with redoing my sewing room some things have got to go..anyone interested in buying my ties..

    I washed all of my ties first thinkiing if they don't wash well I don't want them in a quilt. I was surprised out of about 300 only 4-5 were ruined. Now all the ties are in a large bin waiting to be used.
