What to do with 160 ties ?
Some are silk, wool, cotton & dacron 100% , alot of them are from mens stores in Annapolis, Maryland & a few from Cumberland, Maryland( store no longer here ) .
I have 2 small boxes with some cut for wall hangings & pillows already.
    Any suggestions ?

So much to do with men's ties. You are lucky to have so many. There are no limites to what you can do. Happy Stitching!

I have seen beautiful quilts made from ties. Good luck in your search for the perfect pattern.

Make dresden plates out of them.

I've always wanted to make a silk shawl using old ties but never have been able to collect enough. Don't find very many in the thrift stores around here.

If they are "Christmas" color's maybe a tree skirt or table runner..
I am collecting and I think Ihave more than enough but that is one place I am putting some...then quilting with them.

The problem is trying to decide on a pattern. I have seen some of the dresden plate pattern with some but wanted to do something a little different..

Google men's ties quilt's and you will find some interesting ideas..

I gave them away to a good home. Decided I have enough projects going and I do have 2 small boxes of them prepared for a few small items from a few years ago.
Thank you for all the suggestions. :-) :-) :-)
