You know, when I was a child, many moons ago, lol... my mom used to use white school glue (it's starch based) diluted about 2 to 1 with water (2 parts water, one part glue...if I recall correctly). She would wet the fabric in this, let it dry & iron it (it scorched easily, so she set the iron on medium...probably silk or wool setting)...she did this to make doing cutwork embroidery easier. Would wash in sink when all the designing was done, and then rinse. Worked great. Wonder if this stuff is just diluted school glue?

If you think Best Press is too expensive, try Stay Flo from your grocery store shelf. Dilute it 50 - 50 or even more with water. Spray it on and iron it. Works better if left a few seconds to soak in a little. I spray a large section so when I come to the end of the section, the beginning is ready to iron. Works as well as Best Press.

Hi there,
My name is Naomi. I work for Terial Arts the company that makes Terial Magic. If you contact me at [email protected], I can get you an 8 oz. bottle for $9.95 that is not offered elsewhere. It's enough to saturate 4 yards of fabric. Thank you.
