Yup, that's the name my ten year old gave us. The 3 of us make a club I guess.

But I wanted to thank every one who has offered to send us scrap. We've decided that we will attempt all three of the sampler quilts that this author makes.
The one we are doing first (Farmers Wife) will be for Daddy/hubby for his birthday in November (so I get it too).
Than we are going to try and get the Civil War Diary and the Hobo-riding the rails one done for each of them to have one.

My ten year old thinks the ladies on here are the most awesome people ever. And he hopes God (or who ever it is you believe in if you do not belive in the same God as we do) blesses every one of you.

I looked up the books/quilts you mention and it looks like you and the boys will be learning a lot of history along with quilting. What great leasons you are teaching. Keep all of us up to date on your summer journey.

The oldest one saw the block his brother did today and asked why we didn't do it in black and white. Get a little NASCAR in the quilt. I Just laughed.

We are actually having fun do it.

That sounds like so much fun. I love learning history about/through quilts. I read my quilt history books over and over.

I guess I am lucky with my boys. They both love history. The more hands on the better.
