Default Messed up with fusible web

I managed to iron my fusible on the correct side of the fabric. I know! Is there any way to get the sticky web off the fabric? Thanks

If it's not a large area, you could try re-heating the area with the iron to melt the glue and hope for the best. This has sometimes worked for me, particularly on fabrics that have not been pre-washed. Good luck!

I have used a Magic Eraser on mine. I have also sacrificed a cloth and ironed with a hot hot iron onto it and let the fusible stick to it to clean it. It doesn't happen all at once but it did come off.

There were some great threads about this in the past. Try searching on the QB. I remember one person had done this to a piece of fabric needed for a wedding dress! She was successfully able to remove the fusible.

As I recall, the overall best method of removing a double-sided fusible was to iron a brown paper bag to it. When warmed up, the fusible will stick to the paper and come off the fabric. You do need to do this quite a few times and always use a fresh area of the bag.

You might want to create a test piece first. I would.

If it's a one-sided fusible (such as interfacing), I would iron and peel off first, then use the paper bag method to remove any remaining fusible on the fabric.
