I have this same problem. My sewing room is always a mess. If my DH finds anything he things goes in my sewing room or anything he doesn't know where to put it that goes on my cutting table. At present I am cutting on a small mat on the end of my sewing table. I have to get this mess cleared up and find a place for everything.
