I'm really glad that I was brave enough to drive such a long distance for me to Abbyquilts house. Its 125 mls from my house to hers.
I'm paranoid of driving by myself & I conquered my fear of driving in heavy traffic & unfamilar territory.
Abbyquilts has shown me her postage stamp start for her quilt & she got me hooked on it. So, now I'm looking for fabrics of 1 1/2" sq to make a postage quilt also.
Yes, her cute little dog that took to me like water, really took to Carol's bisquit quilt.
Abbysquilts is right about how gorgious & amazing her silk ribbon wall-hanging is. We wowed & awed a lot of times.
I think it would take 1st place in the wall-hanging department. But, she is undecided about showing it.
It was very enjoyable & relaxing to meet up with abbyquilts & carol's quilts.
I had a great time meeting 2 more friends...
2 down, hmmm, how many more I have to that is on this board in my lifetime? LOL
