    Default Middle School Graduate?

My great niece is graduating from 8th grade, and I was wondering if you folks could give me some ideas of gifts to make that would be appropriate.

    Thanks
    Susan

I have purchased a fleece blanket from Walmart and then appliqued the high school name on it, along with her name. I purchased the blanket in the high school colors. I have also machine embroidered the names and the mascot on the blanket.

Middle school went up to 9th grade for me. long ago... maybe a tote bag or ipod bag or something similar would work. or a gift card she could spend on what she really wants.

I agree. A token. A gift card in a hand made little bag or wallet is perfect. Save the big projects for down the line.

Many middle school girls use the little backpack purses at my school. It's worn like a backpack but it's much smaller. Usually a bright floral or pattern fabric.

A set of small zippered pouches. A matching tote. Things to make high school easier. Or if she is in to a certain sport. If you could find out her high school colors, that would be nice.

I'm bag with a more up to date idea. How about giving her a pile of little papers to ask her friends to write or draw on and then depending on how many you acquire and are suitable make a bag to keep laptop safe or just to keep
