    I made a small baby quilt and used Minky for the backing and did not prewash it. It turned out really nice. The only problem I had was the Minky seemed to want to "grow" ! Had to use a lot of pins to hold it down and not let it re-size itself.

    You need to find a long arm quilter that does not mind using minky for the back! It works great and everyone who gets a quilt with minky loves them!

    Use a lightweight fusible interface when working with minky, it will control the stretch while piecing and quilting
