minky
I need help please. Made a small quilt and using minke for the back, used lots of pins but it keeps shifting and I have to rip it out. Can anyone give me some hints as to what you would do. I appreciate it very much. Thankyou

I'm a spray baste user who is going to check out glue. I've used minky with spray baste and didn't have any problem.
Minkee can stretch which can cause problems, I'm a pre-washer anyway, but I believe it is important for knits especially those that have been draped over the bolt.

I think some machines are fussier about the foot pressure than other machines, that's the first thing I'd look at with minkee, and then I'd consider needle options. A lot of people just have never had to adjust the foot.
I did a couple of minkee on my friend's long arm, we had to manually adjust the foot pressure on that and then remember to change it back down... the next quilt started out with horrible loops.
