Whittles is wonderful - we live in Florida, but visit our daughter in Gallatin, Tn - whenever we get up there, we drive up to Whittles. Not only is the fabric selection great, and the prices too good to be true, the people who staff the shop are fantastic, and so nice to deal with. They do have a website, but getting to be there in person is great. Enjoy.

Has anyone been to both Whittles and Hancocks Paducah and can you offer a comparison?

Yes to NikkiLu and leighway. I've been to both and absolutely LOVE Whittle's and their staff as compared to Hancock's of Paducah.....Once you go to Whittle's they will be your favorite "go to place" for fabric and anything associated with your quilting habit. I love them; and go visit with them, and spend lots (to me) of money every time I go....Let me hear of your own experience when you do go.

Whittle's sounds like my kind of place. You will get a whole lot of positive attention there Don. While other husband/significant others will be holding down chairs waiting for the ladies to finish shopping, you'll be right in the trenches shopping right next to them. Sort of the only rooster in the hen house. Enjoy and let us know what you bought. If you ever travel to the northeast, be sure you check out a Marden's store. It's quite an experience with the sheer amount of fabric and deep discounts.
