So...a few years back I found a treadle stand with a pretty plain pine tabletop on it. I love it to sew on. That cast iron just doesn't move for anything.
Decided I'd like a second for my second machine. Found one on craiglist for 20 dollars - still had the wooden cabinet which would have been a bonus.
Called too late and missed out. Have an email out for another and am hoping to find one soon.
Oh well, sometimes the search is as much fun as the discovery!

We dont have a ton of things I am interested in close to us. I wish we lived in a bigger area just for that reason! :)

    Okay,
I have a line on a different one! Wish me luck.
It is gorgeous, has a yard stick inlay along the middle and a kidney shape cutout where you would sit to sew. Of course, it has the cast iron singer stand. It's a little more than I'd hope to spend but well worth it. (AND, it's right here in my hometown).
    Hope to hear back soon,

I found a RedEye listed yesterday morning....beautiful treadle! I called and talked to the lady's husband and he took my name and number and she still hasn't called me back. I left my name and number again this morning...keeping my fingers crossed. I will definitely be upset if I loose out on this one because the husband told me I was quick.....the first call.

Hey, I hope you get yours too!
I told my husband about the table and he kept saying "Call, call right now". No phone # was posted so now I'll spend the day checking my email...
I'm just looking for a good, steady table right now although the treadles are tempting...
    Good luck,

    Got it!
The top is only held on by one screw - didn't find that out until I got it home but my handy stepson should be able to help in that regard. I am really, really pleased. Can't wait to get it upstairs and operational...
