Thank you one and all for you help. I have to call my insurance agent tomorrow and will go from there. I just wish the hurt would go away. What a lousy thing to do. One person told me it would be easy enough to tuck it into a coat but that was a queen size. One person told me to forget about it. You know no one will say they took it and return it...you have to be dreaming. But oh, how it hurts and I didn't need this right now. I know all get easier but why do people do this to others. Heck, when I am a guest in someone's home I wouldn't even think of looking in a medicine cabinet let along take a penny a found on the floor? Now that made me smile. Tomorrow's another day and maybe I will sleep better tonight.

What happens to people today? I can't imagine my kids are friends taking things but I'm sure it goes on all over and I pray that my kids would ask me first if they could have this or that. Have a happy day. Picture attached of the center medallion.

Oh, that's so horrible! I know you must be very hurt. I'm so sorry.

Do report it to the police, though. If he's into drugs, maybe an arrest would be just what he needs to start to heal.

DH and I were in a car wreck back in 94, 1000 miles from home with a car full of quilts. Car was totalled and we got a rental. As I was loading the bags of quilts in, from the wrecked car at the junkyard, I had a feeling one was missing. When we got home and checked, sure enough one was gone. Maybe the tow truck guy wanted a "tip". Fortunately it was the plainest and cheapest quilt we had. And insurance covered it.

But how awful to have one stolen from your house, and by someone you knew. And such a gorgeous quilt - wow!
