I haven'tseen my good sheers in a year. Just know all these items are somewhere else waiting to be discovered.

Your tumbler blocks are with my 2 pkgs of binding tape having a good laugh while we keep muttering about missing things.

I lost my A foot and ankle for my Viking when I took it off to do some FM quilting. Later figured out it had fallen off the sewing table and into the waste basket which had gone out in the garbage the day before I figured it out.

Recently I started looking in my purse and in the fridge/freezer when things go missing. Menopause has made me do very odd things (like put the food in my purse and the car keys in the fridge).

I'm so sorry that the flying monkeys have found you too. They plague us here, but sometimes they do return the things they borrow. Don't bother moving. When they move in with you, they must put some kind of tracking device in your stuff so they can follow you wherever you go, even to work. I have found they are most likely to return your item if you just relax and stop looking for it. I hope you can work out a peaceable living arrangement with them.

I also have a safe place called "Somewhere" with no instructions for navigation. My home-Gremlins have taken possession of that place and use iot to build their stash with any very special fabric of mine. They also like to hide any new quilt/tablecloths I've been saving for some special occasion. If my Gremlins are paying you a visit please send them home! I need my log-pattern fabric ann my new dresden plate table runner for Midsummer!

I'll tell you where your tumblers are. They've gone to somebody else's sewing room along with my box of "orphan blocks". LOL! I didn't even know my orphans were missing until I volunteered to give them to somebody & now they're gone {poof}... grrrrrrrrrrrr! And I STILL can't find my big acrylic ruler! Double grrrrrrr!

Been there done that, it's odd isn't it? "Of all the things I've lost......I miss my mind the most."

I lost a small wallhanging that was a present for an uncle. It was lost for years and just as suddenly turned up. Gave it to Mom to give to Uncle and when we went home, she had forgotten and it was on the back of her chair.

The powers that be have decided he is not getting the fishing wallhanging.

Don't feel bad. I've misplaced a magazine I had put with other magazines and still can't find it. I figure it will show up one day.
