Missouri lets do lunch!

I vote for Independence, but that is because i can't drive more than 45 min in any direction. went to the campus of CMSU in Warrensburg and wanted to shoot myself. the kids cried all the way there and back. But if you guys hit somewhere else I will have to wait for the next trip out. depending on how far away it is.

we have been looking at the map and decided that we should do lunch in independence this time and we can plan for the next time because we will need two people that are willing to drive the shop hop. i have my husband talked into it but we need one more, and from concordia to mexico via columbia and kingdom city would be about 200 miles round trip that a lot
so what do u think shall we meet this time and shop hop the next time we can meet on the 22nd if thats ok.

if it is in Independence I am all for it. And the 22nd is great for me. It is not about the drive it is about my kids. My DD could spend the day with my mom but my DS can't he is still on the boob and he doesn't do long trips well yet. about a month ago went to Nebraska Furniture Mart which is like 45 min and he cried both ways the whole time. Had to pull over three times to try and get him calmed down. the last five min he finally fell asleep from exhaustion.

works for me. : )
You guys all have a great time. I'll be watching the Quiltingboard for the pics!!! : ))
Maybe next time we can do Versailles, there are 2 Amish/Mennonite fabric stores ($3 to $6/yard) about 7 miles one way from Versailles and 2 or 3 reg quilt shops 7 or 8 miles the other direction. : )
We could meet in Versailles, carpool in one direction, come back to Versailles for lunch at Lehman's Mennonite restaurant and then go the other direction to the other shops.
Ginny....in Fulton

crossginny, why can't they be closer to me. I would absolutely love to go there. Just for the prices. Maybe late summer early fall when I ween my son I can get my mom to watch for the day and just bring my dd. or just leave them both, which is the best situation. (horrible I know.)
