    Default Mist Instead of Iron

I hate to iron, especially in the summer, when it is hot upstairs where I quilt. I've discovered that a spritzer bottle of water works just as well for those small, in between ironing jobs. I just give the piece a very light mist so that the fabric is slightly damp and then finger press. All of the wrinkles smooth out nicely and it makes the fabric a little easier to work with. The bottle is handy and near by and I don't even have to get up. I do get out the iron when my blocks need that final pressing and squaring up.

I use wrinkle release spray and use a cold iron to press. LOL It works great. I fill one of the cute mister bottles with it.

Sometimes, when I can't reach the spray bottle, I dip my fingers into my cat's water dish and use that. Am I bad?
