I took off the practice piece and went to start a "real" quilt. The practice pieces were great...not to look at so much, but the top and bottom stitching looked good. I had played with the pantogram on the second practice piece, so, thought I would try it on the real deal. First row looked not too bad, good stitches, etc. But for one reason or another (thread colour), I ripped it out. Here is the kicker and the real problem: I started to quilt again, and now I have railroad ties across the back. I loosened the top tension, and that gave me eyelashes. I changed the needle and oiled her, but...have ripped out the stitching at least 9 times and now my backing looks like swiss cheese. Out of frustration, I took the real quilt back off the frame, and will load a practice piece on AGAIN. This is to all you LAQs...any suggestions? My frustration and disappointment is very high right now. I could have quilted this quilt 10 times over on my domestic. HELP PLEASE!!!!
