    I would make up a mock block using the different fabrics, a simple 9 patch would do. Once you make the block,iron it wash it etc and see how the blend holds up.

    bunniequilter, now that's a good idea.

    Tell me, do you actually do that?

    Seems like an awful imposition, does it pay off then?

    I guess when you think about how long you want your hard work to live for, it's a small cost in the overall scheme of things.
