Go Hazel! My beloved Grandma, who taught me to sew (and so much more!) was named Hazel.

    Oh that's terrific! Congratulations, Hazel B!!! :)

My grandmother taught me to sew on her 401 when was about eight or so. By Jr High, I made most of my own clothes. I have bought a 401 and a cabinet and bench that are just like hers. And on eBay, I even found a pair of pinking shears in the SAME box that she had in her cabinet.

Grandmothers are SPECIAL!!!! We hold on to those memories of grandmas long after we become grandmas ourselves!

    Happy quilting, Hazel B! :)

Wonderful. I wish my mom sewed, so we could share an interest!

Way to go, mom! Now you'll have to get her to start posting pictures of what she makes.
