    Nesie, kettle cloth is not the same as monk cloth. Monk cloth is so wonderful to use for hand stitching projects. And, it is a project that is portable. We all need those.

    Neither did I ..... though, did you take a look at the link?

    When I looked, it was not at all what I think of as a bodkin.
    Seeing what they offered, it did make sense as a tool for swedish weaving.

    I saw a picture of two bodkins. I don't know if I was looking at the correct picture, but those are what I would use to lead some narrow elastic or string-tie through the casing.

    Sounds like really neat stuff!

    I know what you mean about new ideas. I use to do a lot of cross stitching and several years ago I was at a garage sale and they had high count cross stitch fabric really cheap so I got like 3 yards of white and 3 yards of beige. Now I wonder if I'll ever use it.
