Hopefully I can post another couple of picture of the Blessing of the Quilts on Feb. 13th. All items are being distributed this next week. We have over 300 items so far this year and our goal is to reach 1000 items to donate to Nursing homes, Unwed mothers group, Hospice etc.

What a nice thought. Is this something that your church does on a regular basis?

What a nice idea. Our church makes prayers shawls. Many of the ladies crochet, a few knit. I made a quilted one and just turned it in. When we get enough shawls, we have a blessing on them during church services.

Yes, it is. Our quilt group meets every other Tuesday except June, July, part of Nov. and December.

The doll quilt is from some of those printed fabrics to make pillows our of and some wide lace that was donated and we weren't sure what we were going to do with it.
