More fundraising questions...
Thanks to all for the tips on getting fleece at a reasonable price for football blankets that our cheerleading squad will be making. Here 's another one - I know that there is a fundraiser I think in Texas where the proceeds go to the Ahlzeimer's Foundation. They action off quilted squares (you know, those test squares that we all make before we dive into the entire quilt...hahaha)
Anyway, I thought that I could make a bunch of those since they do look like artwork and we could sell them - perhaps in the local on line newspapers or at games, or even buckled with some of the local craft fairs - even at local restaurants.
Has anyone tried this?

I think that's a great idea! The local Habitat for Humanity quilters made doll blankets once for a fundraiser...it was kind of fun to get creative in a small space. People can use them as decorations for wallhangings or table mats or what have you.
