Just my thoughts. If I was using going with the top photo I would definitely do exactly what you have there. I think that looks great. If I was going with cream in the bottom photo I would leave the orange out all together. Love the quilt, it is going to look great when you are done.

Personally, I like the white sashing, as it really makes your blocks pop.

I like the super skinny orange next to the dark brown border. It definitely adds interest. I'm not a fan of the thicker orange and I think you could definitely do without it. Without it it's a nice subtle look that would go with most decor. With it it's a little more modern and has a bit of wow factor.

The white background helps the blocks to 'float' bringing your eye to the pattern of each block. Your quilt is going to be beautiful.

Sorry but I still do not like either the white or the print sashing!

I like the white (first pic). But I don't know about the orange flange. IMHO the orange is like yellow, draws a lot of attention to its self.

The wow fabric brings the WOW factor to me! The beige would be just a monotone quilt, imho...

After seeing the orange flange, I like the print the best. I think the off-white is too light! Let us know what you decide!
