I think it's stunning. I know how hard it is to work on something when you are bored with it. (I have a couple) I find the more complicated a quilt is, the quicker I need to take a break from it. Finish it when it calls to you, you will be so proud when its done

Love the colors very complicated. Have to make all of one then the others right?

Yes, the instructions are clear. And yes, I am ripping out a lot...pilot error.

There are 9 sections, five of one and four of the other. At first I made them one section at a time, but then I went into assembly line mode and made three of one and three of the other...sewing 3 of each piece of a section before I went on to the next step. I am not sure which was the best way to go.

I took a day off and am now sewing the 9 sections together. I am one of those rare birds who has to finish one quilt before I allow myself to start another. It works for me and means I don't have unfinished products, (though I do have a large stash of fabric) but every once in a while I wish I had a UFO to go play with while my mind takes a break from a challenging quilt. And this one has been challenging for me. I do think I will really like it though.

Smart girl to take a break. I find it helps immensely when I'm getting tired of working on a project. Love the blocks and I see the 3D perfectly.
