    Those butterflies are pretty.You should make a pattern off of it,{and future ones}so you can use it later.As I think it's beautiful and have never seen that one before.I love your idea of alternating blocks.And those fabrics are very pretty.She sure did a good job,and her embroidry {sp?} work is very nice.I think too,you should get a binder and take pictures of all your projects,with the dates,and the newer ones you could put some fabric in,for a journal.Your daughter should have her own journal too.That way,you'll both have a record of all these pretty quilts you done together.
