    I learned it is okay to do it your own way! Think outside the box! I have diffrent ideas on quilting than my friends, felt like an outsider, but then I realize that is just my "quilting style" and that is cool!

    i have learned a lot of things on this board-quilting tips, i will always see even more quilts that i want to make and the term "cozy quilter", but i love the organization tips that have been on here. i'm still working on implementing them.

    My recent "learn"....take a picture of a scrappy quilt layout and look at it on the computer. I recently moved the blocks 3 times to change color sequence...and I thought the first layout was good! Also, when doing darks/lights.....take a pic and put it in computer and change colors to black and white. It'll show you whether you have something in the wrong value.
