    We have 5th wheel. Always take projects with me to sew. Take my Featherweight and it stays in camper. Small ironing board goes on top of stove cover. My table has separate chairs so no problem there. Storage under bed for all the sewing stuff I take. My husband knows if I have my sewing I'm a happy camper.

    We just bought a new 5th Wheel, upgraded from a small travel trailer. The thought has crossed my mind about taking a machine with us when we travel. At this point, we are taking just short trips, but I've already figured out in my mind where I will set up my machine and store my sewing stuff when we retire and take longer trips! Can't wait!

    I would go for the fifth-wheel with the "toy garage". made for motorcycles, atv, bikes,etc. Would make a great sewing room. Get one without all the extra beds back there. Saw one in Rapid City awhile back, had lift door in back, screen around that area, lots of storage, washing machine...I thought it would make a lovely quilters castle.

    I took my machine and projects in our motorhome. But unless you plug your machine into a " Terminator" or similar device, you'd have to run the coach's generator. You should be buckled in while coach is in motion. A sudden stop could send the machine flying ...not a safe scenario! But take the machine along to use when you're parked.Most rv resorts have craft room or welcome centers with tables & chairs. Or you could simply sew at dinette table, or run an extension cord & sew at picnic table ,though if it's windy, your squares could go flying...ask me how l know,lol.
