This is so cool! I have wanted a Harley since I was 16 and thought I needed a tattoo, a Harley, and a switch-blade knife. I have the tattoo, I could say my rotary cutter is the switch blade so all's I need is the Harley to ride off to quilting on!

I've strapped a lot of stuff to the back of my bike but never my sewing machine. The Bernina is too big, heavy and unwieldy I would be afraid it would fall off! I have however put a quilt in a tour pack to take to a show.

BTW, if law doesn't require me to, I don't always wear a helmet either. My head, my choice.

And I have mixed feelings about helmets, as I'm and OR nurse.
but I say it' should be a choice. I choose to wear safety gear it's saved my skin (literally) more than once.
Thank you...that might be an idea..hummmm

No your not the only one. They say accidents happen close to home, please wear your helmet, I always did. I just know to many people who could still be alive today if they would of put one on. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Don't mean to be a sad sack. I know you love to feel the wind in your hair.

My son was wearing a helmet when he had an accident. It was trashed but he only had a small cut on his face from the helmet. His opinion is that helmets should be optional but he will opt to wear one every time. He learned the hard way how important leathers are since his skin injury required a skin graft.
