Now that's a multifaceted lady right there! What a sweet
Bike and she looks awesome on it.
As far as the helmet goes... I wear mine, but I do believe
In a persons right to choose.
Ride on quilting biker! You rock.

You go girl! If I ever had learned to ride a bike, I'd be there with you to save on gas.

How about finding her a helmet and having quilt blocks painted on the sides? That may be a one of a kind helmet. Could never get it mixed up!! Something could happen with only a few streets to travel through.

I ride motorcycle also, wear long sleeves and jeans as gravel..well lets just say, you have to pick it out piece by piece...I live in Minnesota and a helmet is not required, we live out in the country and when I ride locally I do not wear a helmet...there's just something about wind blowing through your hair..but when I ride in town, you betcha, concrete wins everytime! Love riding. "Born to ride, forced to work" use to be my motto...then I started quilting and can add quilting along with it! LOL

a friend's brother just died in florida--only 27 years old, hockey player--in a motorcycle mishap. he was only going 20 MPH when a truck pulled out in front of him. he laid the bike down, gently, to avoid a crash--only 20 mph, remember. he died within three hours from his head injuries.

please wear a brain bucket, motorcycle or bicycle. the concrete wins--but the whole family loses.
