My baby (48 yr.) is a biker and all he ever wanted me to make him was a quilt from his Harley T-shirts.

I used about 53 of his shirts, some of his wife's, a few Harley articles that he bought his nieces......and some of his group patches.

He just loves it and it is definitely only one of a kind.....

Will not make another....it was one big job.....
but for my son, nothing is too much......

    My "baby biker's" T-shirt quilt.

It's a choice here, so long as you have your license and not a permit. I have mixed emotions about it, I suppose. I live and let live, but would probably wear one these days...especially on the interstate, even though I would probably die anyway out there.

Dude, the best part of that pic...it was the first thing I noticed....the APRON!!! Hilarious! Who ever really sees an apron wearing momma on a bike? Awesome :)

Many bikers do not like helmets. They take their risks...and honestly helmet verses concrete...concrete will win anyway.
    I am just a tad over 5"2 and drive a motorcycle..Mine is a Suzuki 250

She's a riot. Wish she wore a helmet though.

i had a honda 650. i was really too short for it. hated stoplights. always stopped at the curb if i could. helmets should be a choice. i don't like them, but i do wear one. with a face shield. but i only wear it cause i don't like getting hit it the face with bugs and stuff.

I had a Kawasaki 750, bored out to 1000. We didn't wear helmets, either. It is a personal choice, but there are a lot more crazy drivers on the roads now than there ever used to be.

Unfortunately, I had to give up riding due to my health, hubby, too. My two sons ride now, in crazy busy towns, but they are required to wear helmets.

Hey, bugs in your teeth or beard is part of the persona don't ya know?
