If i still had my trike i would. I had a 1990 Honda goldwing and loved every minute i got to ride it. Never did ride it without a helmet and never would. I just lost a friend of mine and ex-coworker due to not wearing a helmet when he wrecked his bike. So sad, i choose to live. Used to ride it to work when i did work.......love retirement now.

As usual this post has gone way off topic. It wasn't meant to be about wearing/not wearing your helmet (I'm a fan of wearing - but it's personal choice where the law hasn't stepped in).

I think it's cool she rides a bike and figured out a way to take her machine with. Since she's only going a few blocks what a great way to go :)

You probably have seen the cars that folks have quilted. She could probably make one snazzy, quilted helmet cover and be safer too. Send us a picture when you come up with one.

Hubby and I rode for years, he has a back back so we had to give it up. But we are in our mid 60's and I guess it was time, but we sure miss it.
    Have a Blessed day

I loved the photos and the whole idea. People out there living their lives and having fun. Gotta make me some aprons. Just can't dodge the grease spatters like I used to.

I think your wife is one cool quilter! I showed this to my DH and he thought it was wild! Can't imagine us toting the SM on the bike with us!
