We loved our home in Kentucky but we are getting old enough that being so far away from medical facilities and "city" conveniences just doesn't work. I sure will miss those hills though!

Crashnquilt lives in Lebonon, Mo. She would be able to tell you everything you want to know about quilting in that area. I met her on another forum and visited her in 2008 when I was RVing. She's very nice and just tell her Alma recommended you get in touch with her.

    You'll love it there, BTW!

Don't forget Branson!! There is another wonderful quilt shop in Branson! It was recently featured in one of the quilt magazines that highlight quilt shops... If you make a day of it you can visit the Springfield/Ozark/Branson area and see them all! My sister lives in S'field and I make an annual trip to Branson with some friends to sew for a week and have been to all these shops...you won't be disappointed!!

West of Waynesfield . I don't know if it is still there.

The shop in Waynesville is still there. It's small good prices but it is not open every day. The one in Branson is the best. Springfield has at least 3 shops

Lebanon is just West of Ft Leonard Wood where we have a relative serving - hills around the area are beautiful - reminds me of the Wisconsin Dells - layered rocks cut deep by water with plenty of trees. It is lovely.
