I got both the hard copy and digital. I put the digital on my Kindle Fire and can watch the videos for each pattern on the Kindle too. The cost for both was $10.98, the cost of one quilt pattern most places. I don't see how anyone can be negative about the prices considering the cost of anything quilt related.

There are no ads (thankfully) and the pattern directions have tutorials to go along with them.
I find that very helpful when I'm trying to follow any quilters instructions (E. Burns).
Jenny Doan and her family/employees are in the business to provide us with all the tools for our success
Thanks to them in part, my skill set has improved a great deal.

so far, on maybe two quilts in the "book" I may have to watch the videos they have in order to really understand how to make the blocks. maybe it's me.
here is a flower quilt I made years ago that's in the book.

I, too, posted the other day that I had not received my copy, but HURRAY, it came on Tuesday. Love the non advertising.

I receive mine and I love the format. I think the patterns are some of traditional and some sort of modern. She does an excellent job of breaking the "how to" up with excellent visuals and instructions. The friendliness of her writing and even the paper it is printed on makes you think it is a well done publication. A I read through her stories and viewed the quilts, I got a warm fuzzy.
I am trying to decide whether or not to subscribe to receive the new Block Magazine. If you have received yours, please tell me if (1) the pattern designs are suitable for a novice or confident beginner and (2) if the designs are mostly traditional or modern? I prefer more modern designs and find many magazines don't have enough in the modern style to be worth the cost for me. Thanks for any thoughts!
