I have two from a swap. I use them both. One is on my end table beside my favorite chair and the other one is in my sewing room.

I'm thinking everyone at work is getting one for the holidays this year. Quick, useful and small gift - perfect for co-workers.

Wouldn't they get used just like a coaster, only prettier, and bigger?

I love to make them for myself and as gifts. They are always used by everyone.

I haven't made one yet, but want to. I'm always amazed at how creative everyone is. I love this about this place, it's so inspiring.

My question is, do you put something between the layers, so the liquid doesn't get through, or do you just make them like a teeny tiny quilt?

    Thanks for sharing,

I have one on my desk at work, two on my sewing machine desk, and one on my DH's bedside table. Every person I work with has one. I have not checked to see if they are still there, as I gave them out as Christmas gifts last year. I love making those darned little things! I can really let my creativity loose on them...

This was also my question re making them so that liquid does not soak thru.

Oh definitely they are used. I have some from swaps, some I've made (as practice), and otherwise. I love them. They're just handy to have w/any drink, and a little snack. They make such great gifts.
